The Muckleshoot Tribe wanted a building that could meet modern business needs while still reflecting their Northwest Indian heritage. Prior to the start of construction, the 12-acre site required hand-excavation to uncover and remove any artifacts. In addition to office and public space, we also installed a meat and fish processing facility and a laboratory. We used exposed Alaskan yellow cedar post and beam construction with clear red cedar siding and trim to create a natural, modern community space.
