Era Living’s new senior community building fits perfectly into the peaceful, artistic Maple Leaf neighborhood – yet this project began with unique challenges. In addition to restricted access and sharing the site with another contractor, we found an area of the site had very poor soil quality. Teamwork, adaptability and working with the owner to find the most cost-effective soil solution kept the project moving forward. We installed auger cast piling under a portion of the foundation to solve the soil problem. and now the Aljoya at Thornton Place is a sustainable luxury building solid from the ground up.
