Except for street-level retail, this historic Pioneer Square building sat empty for 40 years. We removed the roof to add structural framing for new penthouses and reused old-growth trim to finish floors throughout project. Crushed glass cullet served as fill for the sub-basement parking area and we salvaged a vintage safe and one-of-a-kind stained glass radius window that sat concealed in a wall for decades.
