The University of Washington’s new student housing is a testament to the beauty of innovation, creativity, and sustainable design. Upgrades after the start of construction demanded we also think creatively to avoid potential delays and increased costs. We used extensive value engineering to find new solutions for both our team logistics and materials bid process. By avoiding delays and securing bulk pricing, we completed this sleek and stylish building on time and under budget – making Cedar Apartments affordable – and as easy on the eyes as it is on the planet.
