Maple and Terry Halls include two new five-story student housing buildings. Units are residence halls with private bathrooms, and the lower two floors of Terry Hall are occupied by UW Housing and Food Services administration offices. The lower levels of the larger Maple Hall include common areas for students, including games areas, lounges, meeting spaces, a large Great Room, and support facilities. Two attractive landscaped courtyards also enhance the project, and a below-grade garage is connected to the adjacent Lander Hall garage and loading dock.
Extensive preconstruction services and planning kept the project on track throughout design and construction. LEED Gold certification is in process.
The Maple and Terry project was recognized by the AGC of Washington as the winning entry in the Public $50-100 Million category in 2016.
